Hand embroidered, original image done using embroidery thread, machine embroidery thread and cotton. This one was inspired by a pencil drawing l did many years ago of the woman in the centre of this hand embroidery. Her surrounds l made up to create a little utopian wonderland for her.
All works are one offs and hand embroidered. I use a combination of rayon thread, machine embroidery thread and regular cotton thread to achieve the highest level of detail. Some are sewn on to the hoop, others glued on.
Ready to hand from hoop.
